Sales teams
Several years ago, Michele tried to persuade me into sales. Sales teams are a bit different from development teams: The art of the cold call is one of the most respected in sales, it takes big brass ones and thick skin to be able to get on a phone and call a list of people who don't know you or care about you. People who think they are too good to cold call just aren't good enough to be in the same room with people who do. |
