When you create a poll, voting doesn't start immediately. This gives you a chance to make sure the question and answer choices are right; once a poll has started, you cannot edit the note or change the polling questions (although you can still move and resize the note on screen).Immediately after creating a poll, the note shows a grey label saying that a poll has not yet started: To start the poll, click the "tick" icon at the top corner of the note, or the "tick" icon on the toolbar. When the poll is started, all members of the space are sent an instant message, which says that the poll has started (and the text of the note). The note then shows the current state of the poll: the questions begin asked, and the current count of votes for each option. If you hover over the "tick" icon, you will see more information about the poll: its closing time, whether the poll will close automatically once everyone has voted, and whether you personally have voted or not.
